We hired JAB for the architecture work after having already sorted our builders. Or so we thought – turns out the builders were scammers! We are forever indebted to Caroline at JAB, who helped us realise this and helped put us in touch with others who were also victims of this. We then used ExtensionHub to find another builder for our work. We were able to get a shortlist and get builders round for interviews, given our previous experience. Steve from Lees Builders bore our questioning well, and we were impressed by with his attitude and his quote. We have been impressed throughout with the customer service from both JAB and Lees: the quality of the architectural designs, the quality of the build/fitting work, their mindfulness of us and the neighbours as well as the aftercare with various minor snags that have arisen. All the workers were friendly, professional and tidy throughout their work. We are recommending Lees and JAB/ExtensionHub to our family and friends and would recommend them to anyone considering building work.
Steve and his team built us the most beautiful home. Steve went above and beyond our expectations, and he is a brilliant project manager as well as builder! The team worked tirelessly in the cold and wet to build our house and nothing was ever too much trouble. When plan drawings didn’t quite work, Steve was amazing at finding the solution and worked with the architect and building regulations to do so. We moved in over 9 months ago now and we couldn’t be happier with the build. My favourite part is the lifetime guarantee (!)
Steve has completed three jobs for us, modernising residential accommodation and converting office space, to a total value of around £.5m. All work completed in good time, in budget and with excellent quality. Steve owns his jobs and has sorted out the problems that inevitably arise without pushing them back to the customer. His workers are cheerful and diligent (a miracle in itself). I’ll happily provide further reference to anyone who contacts me.
